Ibiza Expedition April 2009
Our first expedition will be running in Ibiza in April 2009. During the 4 weeks, we will be offering participants the chance to take part in our Research and Survey diver courses right up to Instructor Level. Once courses have been completed, divers will be able to put their newly learned skills into practice at some of the fantastic dive sites around the island including measuring colonisation on the Don Pedro wreck which sank in July 2007. You will leave the expedition having gained an internationally recognised certification as well as a good grounding in underwater research and surveying techniques.
Obviously, the trip will be very much diving orientated. However, during the time you are in Ibiza, there will be one day a week in which you can explore what Ibiza has to offer on dry land. We will be based in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza’s third largest resort and only 21Kms from the islands airport. Run at a more relaxing pace than other resorts such as San Antonio, the town has a thriving year round community and is noted as the islands gastronomic and cultural centre. The town is close to the islands capital, Ibiza Town and Pacha nightclub, which remains open year round, offering you the opportunity to put your fins to rest for a night and hit the town.
